Overview
This glitch refers to using a vulture warp to warp from Facility Roots into main OE. As the gate from Subterranean to Outer Expanse is blocked for most Slugcats, this is the only way to reach OE.
In order to attempt a warp, a vulture must be batspeared in Outskirts, and a pushback skip must be performed to get through the water tunnel in SU. After reaching the gate, beeglitch must be activated. From there, it is possible to perform a beeglitch vulture warp to reach main OE.
Leech Route
The easiest way to bypass the pushback field is by having a leech attach to you. Unfortunately, leeches do not migrate, and only jungle leeches survive out of water long enough to make it to the tunnel. As a result, this route can only be performed as Rivulet.
Required prep:
- A vulture grub and beehive in SU_S05 and/or your stomach
- Hibernate in DS_S01r with a white squidcada
- Lizard rep and/or stored food are optional, but reduce the risk of failure
Once you’re ready to start, bring the squidcada to DS_A16 and have it pick up a jungle leech. Rush towards SU_C04 as quickly as possible, making sure that the leech isn’t dropped. Getting up SU_C04 can be tricky, but thanks to the squidcada, some well timed jumps are enough. Doing a wallpounce on the bottom geometry can also give you a large amount of height.
Once you get up, head to the water tunnel in SU_PMPSTATION01, and detach the leech by killing the squidcada. Be very careful not to hit the leech!
Next, set up a batspear link, and use the vulture grub to call a vulture into SU_CAVE03. Attach a batspear to it, then force it to grab some food- the squidcada corpse and the vulture grub are both good options.
Bring the vulture into SU_PMPSTATION01, then have the jungle leech attach to you. This will let you bypass the pushback field; swim down and into the gate, bringing both the linked vulture and the beehive. When you get to the gate room, stand in the gate and throw the beehive at the center wall, then stand still so the gate closes. This should guarantee that beeglitch activates.
After exiting the gate, let the vulture leave through the roof in OE_PUMP04. After it leaves, wait for at least 1 minute. Reenter the gate, then quickly exit it again; the vulture will drop its food, so be careful not to let it grab you. Let it leave again, then wait.
If everything goes well, you will eventually be warped. The camera will not warp, so you’ll need to rely on the map to tell where you are. You may warp over death pits, or the vulture may grab you right after warping. Drop the batspear, then try to navigate to a room transition pipe; this will fix the camera, and you are free to find a shelter and save the game.
Eel Route
Any slugcat other than Rivulet must perform a more complicated skip using an eel lizard.
Required prep:
- Hibernate in SU_S05 with a vulture grub, beehive, dead baby centipede, and a partially tamed eel lizard
To begin, have the Eel grab the baby centipede in the shelter; this should glitch its AI, forcing it to stay there until you are ready to use it. If you are attempting the warp as Spearmaster, take this time to move items around, as your lack of a stomach makes it harder to transport multiple things at once.
Next, set up a batspear link in SU_CAVE02, making sure to link at least 3 spears. When you’re ready, head to SU_CAVE03 and use the vulture grub to call a vulture. Attach a batspear to it, then try to force it to grab the vulture grub. This isn’t required, but it will make things easier. Move the vulture to the right side of SU_CAVE02.
Leave the batspears, then head back to your shelter. Take the centipede from the lizard, then have it follow you into SU_CAVE02. Get the Eel to climb a wall, then upspear it with one of the batspears; this will reduce the damage of the spear so it injures the lizard, but not heavily enough that it attempts to flee.
Pick up the remaining batspear and bring the vulture, lizard, and a swallowed beehive into SU_PMPSTATION01. The vulture should scare the Eel down the tunnel and into the next room. IMMEDIATELY after being pulled by the Eel, drop your batspear, then take the one from the Eel. Make sure not to delink the spears or take the vulture’s spear! Enter the gate as quickly as possible so the vulture doesn’t drown; do not go back to SU_PMPSTATION01 or the pushback field will drag you up!
When you get to the gate room, stand in the gate and throw the beehive at the center wall, then stand still so the gate closes. This should guarantee that beeglitch activates.

Notes
This warp can be performed as any slugcat except Saint. As Inv, you will first need to migrate the three Miros vultures out of Outskirts, then migrate a vulture from Metropolis all the way into Outskirts. As Watcher, you will need to migrate the Eel from the Gutter.
The first OE Warp was done using a creature shortcut vulture warp, but it was performed using dev tools, and is completely impractical in normal gameplay.
